This was my first problem with someone that I considered a friend. I was 14 years old and I had a friend named Jose who also was 14.We were best friends for 4 years. We hadn’t had any discussions until that time. He was the person that I trusted the most, but when love came to my life for the first time, things changed. It was summer and I started to date Evelyn, who was my first girlfriend. We had been dating for a month already when Jose met her. The three of us started to do lots of things together, even more when Jose started to date Evelyn’s sister, but suddenly things were different; Jose broke up with his girlfriend and he started to talk a lot more to Evelyn, until one day I found them in the neighbourhood square kissing each other… I couldn’t talk to them, so I went home to cry. The next day I faced him and we had a big argument and even a fight; I told him that he was a liar, the fakest and most cynical person I had ever met; after that, we never talked again.
Now, I realize that these kinds of experiences are more common that I used to think and that they are an essential part of life because things that don’t kill you, make you stronger.
