By Elizabeth Villablanca
Now I know what real life is about. When I was in high school, everything was easier than now. I lived with my parents and I had everything that I wanted, my perfect world, my own bubble. However, here in college I’ve learned how to be more responsible and how to take care of myself. In my house, if I was hungry, my mother cooked for me, whereas here, if I’m hungry, I have to cook for myself. When I first came to San Felipe, I didn’t have a clue how the real world works. At the beginning, everything was hard. I didn’t know a thing, and every little thing was a huge experience for me. Now, I’m not an expert in life, but I’m learning what REAL life is about, and I’m enjoying it.
