To Be a Teenager V/S to Be an Adult

By Karla Campos

It is not the same to be a teenager that to be an adult. I still remember when I was thirteen years old. I used to have less responsibility than now. Going to school was my only duty. Now it is very different because I go to University and I have to study a lot in order to get good grades. When I was a teenager, I was worried about trivial things, for instance, boys and to be liked by everyone, whereas now I am an adult so I have to be worried about the future and to have a successful life. When you are an adult, you do not have free time for anything! When I was thirteen, I used to have a lot of free time that I spent more with my friends than with my family. However, now I would like to have more free time to spend with my family. It is very surprising how life changes when you become an adult.
